What to Know about Phase One Reopening in Prince George’s County
As of Monday, June 1st, County Executive Angela Alsobrooks is lifting the County’s Stay at Home Order. The following are eligible to reopen, with limitations noted:
Non-essential retail will be open for curbside pick-up only.
Manufacturing may reopen, using social distancing and honoring CDC guidelines.
Barber shops and Hair Salons may reopen by appointment only- One customer allowed per every 200 sq. ft.
Restaurants may reopen for outdoor dining only (in addition to delivery and carryout), with a maximum of 50 total customers, with no more than 6 at a table.
Houses of Worship will reopen for gatherings of ten or fewer only.
Farmers Markets will reopen for carryout only.
Childcare may reopen for essential workers and for those returning to work.
Car washes can reopen, but customers must remain in their cars.
Customers must continue to wear masks in all open businesses.
